A Mexican actress, born in Mexico City, Mexico, to a British mother and a Mexican father. She had six brothers and one sister. She studied philosophy at the University of Missouri in the United States and returned to Mexico to study art at Mexico City College. She was a student of Japanese director and teacher Seki Sano and became his assistant in directing a number of theatrical productions. She participated in Mexican theater for four years and worked with Alejandro Jodorowsky in editing. She won the Ariel Award for Best Actress in 1983.
