Toqa Hesham |
A French actress and singer, born in Paris. Her most important works are The Murderer Lives at Number 21 (1942), Quai des Orfevres (1947), The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (1973), and The Last One of the Six (1941). She was discovered by the writer, director, and producer Henri-Georges Clouzot, who became her companion and gave her unforgettable roles written and directed by him, such as her roles in The Last One of the Six and Quai des Orfevres. Her following roles were not as strong as before, except in some films such as Gervaise (1956) and Rocco and His Brothers (1960), as she was busy singing and releasing her albums.
