A Jordanian writer, born in the village of Abu Makhub in Shobak, Jordan. He obtained a Bachelor's in Arabic language and literature from the University of Jordan in 1970, a higher diploma from Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 1980, and a Master's in Arts from the same university in 1987. He started working on Jordanian television in 1970 and continued for 23 years. He was elected a Member of Parliament for Ma’an Governorate in 1993 and was appointed Minister of State in 1995. He practiced journalistic, social, and political work and wrote the series Magharib Cave (1991), which aired on several Arab channels. He edited and directed several television programs, including Thought and Art. He is a member of the Jordanian Writers and Writers Union.
