Christina Aziz |
An English author, born in Manchester, UK. She later moved with her family to America. Her works include "Haworth's" (1879), "Louisiana" (1880), "A Fair Barbarian" (1881), and "Through One Administration" (1883). In addition, she co-wrote a play called "Esmerelda" (1881) with actor William Hooker Gillette. In 1886, "Little Lord Fauntleroy" was published, and it sold more than half a million copies. In 1898, she got a divorce from Mr. Burnett. In 1900, she married her second husband who was a businessman, but their marriage lasted only two years, and their divorce took place in 1902. She died on October 29, 1924 at the age of 74. Her credits include The Secret Garden (1993).
