Toqa Hesham |
An American actor, who was born on April 13, 1920 in Yonkers, New York. He holds a BA in English and had planned to be an English professor but sought a job in acting instead. He worked in the Broadway theater, then became an increasingly familiar figure in Western dramas and crime. He was a familiar character in Western and post-WWII crime dramas, in films such as The Killers, The Enforcer, Bend of the River, Vera Cruz, and Kiss Me Deadly. He appeared in several TV series in the 1950s and 1960s. He died on February 18, 2002 in Carmel, California.
