An Indian actor, born on September 27, 1933 in Dharapuram, Tamil Nadu, India. He previously held British Raj citizenship. He is known for Nammavar (1994), Dasavatharam (2008), and Jewel Thief (1967). He recived a Silver Lotus Award for Best Supporting Actor in Nammavar (1994) and Special Award at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, India for the same film. He died on January 31, 2009 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India from diabetes and a heart ailment. |
