A French author, born in Montpellier, France. He then lived in England and Spain, where he worked as a teacher of French and Spanish and later as a translator. In his early youth, he fell in love with the novels of Émile Zola and a number of Spanish novelists, such as Arturo Pérez Reverte and Eduardo Mendoza. He began writing at an early age, starting with poems and short stories at the age of seven. At the age of thirteen, he put all that aside to devote himself to music, joined a rap group, and later worked in directing short films. His novel, "The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe," was made into a film titled The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir in 2018.
