Iranian director, editor, and screenwriter, born in the city of Ahvaz. He obtained a diploma and began his cinematic career by making 8mm short films. Most of his cinematic works are characterized by tackling real stories. He is the brother of the famous cinematographer Darioush Ayari. He is known for Soil and Coral (2013). He won many awards, including the Crystal Simorgh at the Fajr International Film Festival.
