An Iranian director, born in Ahvaz, Iran. He liked the camera since he was 14 years old, when he made his first short film with his father's camera, and began directing as a hobby in his early years. He began his professional career as an assistant director on the film Ilia, the Young Painter (1992), and went on to direct several works such as Dogholooha (2002), Motherhood Song (2008), Distances (2010), Mannequin (2019-2020), and Scorpion in Love (2023).
