A British stage and film actor, born on October 10, 1933 in London. He was educated at Eton and King's College, Cambridge. He is a member of the famous Massey family. He appeared as a child in the nautical drama In Which We Serve in 1942. He did not take part in roles until the late 1950s, when he participated in the 1958 film Women in Love. His works include: the comedy Girls at Sea (1958), the military-style comedy Operation Bullshine (1959), and the comedy-drama Upstairs and Downstairs (1959). He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He died on March 25, 1998 in London, at the age of 65.
