An Indian actor and director, born in Bangalore, British India. His early schooling was in his hometown, and he completed his high school education in 1958 at St. Joseph's High School in Mumbai. In 1963, he graduated with a bachelor's degree from KC College. He participated in many theatrical productions and competitions during his studies, and after graduating, he joined the Indian National Theatre and the Indian People's Theatre Association. His artistic works include the film The Guide (1965), the play Hamlet (1970), and the series Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi (1984).
