A South African actress, born in Queenstown. She grew up on an isolated farm for most of her childhood, where she spoke Xhosa before English. She studied at the University of Natal/Pietermaritzburg, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Psychology and Afrikaans Nederlands. She began her career as a production assistant at SABC TV, then as an assistant producer for television, and joined SABC Radio. She also worked as a television presenter on SABC1 and became a specialized production manager at Ukhozi FM (Radio Zulu). One of her most important works as an actress is the movie Yesterday (2004).
