A British actor, born on March 1, 1885 in the United Kingdom. He studied architecture before appearing at Garrick's Theatre, London, in 1904. After going to the United States, he later appeared in several Broadway plays and Hollywood films. Some of his most important roles were in Captain Blood (1935), Son of Frankenstein (1939) and To Be or Not to Be (1942). He died on April 22, 1946 in the U.S of pneumonia. |
