A former American athlete, wrestler, and actor. He is known for his debut with WCW between 1997 and 2001 and in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) between 2003 and 2004. He is a two-time world champion: once world champion with WCW and once world heavyweight champion. In WWE, he was known as the first undefeated world champion and the first champion to win both championships. He received a scholarship to play for the University of Georgia and was able to reach the American football team, where he played the defensive position. Following his selection to the NFL, he sustained an injury that led him to pursue martial arts during his rehabilitation. Both Lex Luger and Sting saw him before they offered him entry into the world of wrestling, and he began training in WCW and participated in acting in many movie productions.
