Egyptian writer and director and a pioneer in theater in Portsaid. He is the founder of the Portsaid Culture Palace troupe in the mid-1960s and directed several works for the Mass Culture Theater and the State Theater as well. He wrote several plays and a novel. He directed the play Sonata of Love and Death (1997).
