An Iranian actor, born in the Iranian city of Abadan. He graduated from the University of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1979. He achieved great success in his first film Sun Dwellers by the director Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh in 1980. He was also able to show his acting skills and abilities through the role of a blind young man in the movie Chrysanthemums directed by Rassoul Sadr Ameli in 1985. He won the Best Actor Award in a Supporting Role for the movie Crossroads at the House of Cinema Ceremony in 2006.
