A French film director, screenwriter, and actress, born on May 6, 1973, in Berlin. At the age of seven, she moved from Berlin to Los Angeles with her French-Iranian parents and her brother, drummer Cyril Atef. They later moved to France, where she finished her studies, after which she went to London to work as an actress in London theaters. She returned to Berlin and graduated from the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB). She started her career in 2003 and is known for 3 Days in Quiberon (2018) and Molly's Way (2005).
