A British producer, director and screenwriter, who holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University College London (1984 - 1986) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons), from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (1986-1988). She is a prolific executive producer in the UK for more than 90 film and television productions.
She founded Goldfinch Entertainment, through which she has helped finance over 200 film and television projects and helped over 20 first-time directors create their first film.
In 2020, she directed her first feature film A Bird Flew In, a project she conceived during the Corona pandemic quarantine. The film was selected for more than 30 festivals and received more than 28 awards and nominations. Her other credits include Quant, Broken, and Father of Flies.
