British director and producer, born in England, on July 24, 1929. Peter was educated at Charterhouse School. Peter was also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Peter got married to Virginia Pope, and they had two children. Among his most famous works are: Robbery in 1967, Bullitt in 1968, The Dresser in 1983 and Krull in 1983. Peter died from a heart attack in London, on January 9, 2011. |
