Her first film was Antoine & Antoinette (1947). Her small roles continued until she played her first major role in Rendezvous in July (1949). She worked with many French directors and actors and participated in joint films with Italy, Britain, Australia, and the Congo. Among her most important works are The Night of the Generals (1967), Father, Mother, the Maid and I (1954), La milliardaire (1991), and No Exit ( 1954). She presented her last television role in the television movie Milady and the Three Musketeers (2004). She died on June 25, 2016, in Paris.
