She began her artistic career in Bollywood in 1989 and continued until 2000, where she presented many artistic works after a hiatus that lasted for years from acting. She returned to the small screen through the series Zee Ek Mutthi Aasmaan in 2013. Among her most prominent cinematic works are the movies Trinetra (1991), Hum (1991), Khuda Gawah (1992), Aankhen (1993), and Pehchaan (1993).
