An Indian actor who belongs to the Kapoor family. He began his career in 1953 with the movie Jeewan Jyoti. He is famous for his romantic and dancing roles. He was nicknamed “Elvis Presley of India” because of his singing and dancing style. Among his films are Jab Se Tumhe Dekha Hai (1963), Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1963), and Junglee (1961). He married actress Geeta Bali in 1955, and after her death, he married Neila Devi Gohil. He died on August 14, 2011. |
