A Canadian actress, born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, as Nora Golding. Susan Clark was nominated for a Golden Globe, Emmy, Golden Apple, and Gemini Awards, and won an Image Award in 1971 for Skin Game (1971). Susan Clark was married twice and had one child. Her credits include Porky's (1981), Coogan's Bluff (1968), Night Moves (1975), and Webster (1983-1989). Susan got her chance to act at an early age as her family moved from Ontario to Toronto. She joined a children's theatre and performed her first work in musical theater in 1955 when she was 12. She graduated from Northern High School and studied theatrical art at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Her experience in the field of showmanship led to her theatrical appearance in London, and from there to television in 1963. She returned to Canada in 1967 for her father’s illness, then she headed to Los Angeles to sign a contract with Universal Pictures, presenting her film debut, Banning (1967). Her last movie was Butterbox Babies (1995). She met her second husband, Alex Karas, and they worked together on TV. At the end of the 1980s, she moved away for a little while, worked in a local theater in Southern California, and presented many performances. Finally, she became a member of the Rubicon Theater Company in Los Angeles, performing theatrical performances until she stopped in 2007.
