A UK-born director, writer, and animated filmmaker. She was born in East London, United Kingdom. She worked in the film industry for many years and was previously nominated for the 2019 BAFTA Award for I'm OK. She is best known for her short animation The Old, Old, Very Old Man, and The True Story of Sawney Beane. She is known also for the feature film Happiness Machine.
