Moroccan director, born on July 17, 1969. He obtained a degree in French history and literature from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences in Fez, Morocco, studying from 1989 to 1991. He completed his university studies in the field of cinema at the Sorbonne University, Paris. He also obtained a degree in art history and archaeology from the same university. He received the Special Jury Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2010 and the Special Jury Award at the Muscat International Film Festival in 2010. He directed several films, including Behind Closed Doors.
