Indian actress, born on July 14, 1964, in Mumbai, India. Her father was a doctor. She began her artistic career by portraying small roles in Marathi films. She graduated from the National School of Drama in 1983. She began her television career in the mid-1990s. Her biggest break came when she was approached by Ekta Kapoor to play a supporting role in her TV series Kkusum in 2001.
