An Indian actress, born in Essex, England, to a British father and an Indian-Mauritian mother of Bihari descent. She completed her education at Beal High School in Redbridge, London, England, where she performed in stage productions and learned various forms of dance, including Indian classical, British, and contemporary Western dance. In 2005, while on vacation in Mumbai, she received job offers and decided to stay to pursue a modeling and acting career in India. She has also appeared in various music videos, as well as numerous commercials. In 2007, she appeared in the Tamil film Billa, and in 2011, she played a supporting role in the Hindi film Bodyguard.
