An American actress, born in Santa Monica, California, USA. She is the half-sister of actress Melissa Gilbert and actor Jonathan Gilbert. Sara took her surname from her mother's first husband. She was educated at Yale University, where she studied photography. Her credits include Poison Ivy (1992) and Riding in Cars with Boys (2001).
