An Iranian director, born in Khorramabad. He graduated from the Department of Theater at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture. He began his artistic activity as a director in 1989 at the Young Filmmakers Association in Khorramabad. He is known for Golchehreh (2011), Silence of the Sea (2003), and Wishes of the Land (2002). He became a member of the Asia Pacific Screen Academy, and has won many local and international awards.
