A Sri Lankan actress whose family moved to the UK, where she completed her primary education. After getting a degree in Drama and Theater Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, she moved to New York City on a scholarship to attend the Film Acting Workshop at the New York Film Academy. She launched her acting career in 1997. She is known for Funny Boy (2020), The Good Karma Hospital (2017-2022), and Requiem (2018).
