She studied singing and drama in Madrid and defined her early career in the late 1980s and early 1990s. among her notable works are  Periodistas (1998–2001), Los misterios de Laura (2009-2014), and En la ciudad (2003). She received several awards and nominations, such as a Goya Award nomination for Best New Actress for her role in Entre rojas (1995) and a Golden Wave Award at the Bordeaux International Festival of Women in Cinema for Best Actress for her role in En la ciudad (2003).
