An American actress, born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She attended Román Baldorioty de Castro Graded and Technical School in Old San Juan, where she actively participated in school plays. She studied in the Drama Department at the University of Puerto Rico and received scholarships to the Drama Workshop and Art Institute, as well as to the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Her films include One-Eyed Jacks (1961), The Outsider (1961), Scarface (1983), Sabrina (1995), All the Pretty Horses (2000), and Goal! (2005).
