A Palestinian actor, born in Jerusalem. He is considered one of the most prominent comedians in Palestine, especially in the field of stand-up comedy. He joined the Palestinian National Theater in 1976. He is one of the founders of the Popular Theater, and also one of the founders of the Sanabel Theater in Jerusalem. He has participated in many films, television, and radio series. He spent 3 years in prison, during which he completed 3 theatrical works, including May 1st, Spartacus, and Returning to Haifa. In 1991, he was elected President of the Palestinian Artists Syndicate for 3 years and worked as editor of the artistic page of the magazine, The Jerusalem Return. He won many Arab and international awards, including the Best Actor Award at the Haifa Children’s Theater Festival for the play The Dwarf and the Miller’s Daughter in 1996. He won the Best Director Award for the play, The Migrant at the Carthage Festival in Tunisia in 1999, the Golden Tanit for the play Stories Under Occupation from the Carthage Festival in Tunisia, and the second prize at the Arab level for the play The Golden Fish in 2005. He also appeared in several series such as Al Mokhtar's Children (2019) and Kafr Al-Louz (2016).
