Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer. He posted music videos to YouTube in 2010 under the moniker The Weeknd. Then, in 2011, he put out three more critically acclaimed albums: Echoes of Silence, Thursday, and House of Balloons. The next year, he released a compilation album called Trilogy, which included all of the mixtapes and reissues of some of the tracks that were released under his own label, XO, on Republic. Kiss Land and Live For were two singles that accompanied his 2013 studio album of the same name. Beauty Behind the Madness, his second studio album, was released on August 28, 2015. It included the number-one hit "Can't Feel My Face," as well as tracks that were in the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 ("Often," "Earned It," and "The Hills").
