An American actor, born in California, on October 14, 1924. He was married twice and had no children. Throughout his 40-year career, he had always held his position by playing all kinds of roles. He studied at Oakland Technical High School, graduated from Compton College. He served in the United States Marine Corps in Okinawa, during World War II. He began his career in small theater productions, and some Broadway plays. Before starting his television work in 1950, and in the same year he made his first movie in Warner Bros. His most important works are: Midway (1976), Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978), The Dirty Dozen (1967) and 12 Angry Men (1957). His last participation was in the series Something Is Out There in 1988, where he participated in 6 episodes, then died in 1989 at the age of 64.
