An American actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The most important works of Stanley Andrews include Road to Rio (1947), Escape from Devil's Island (1935), and Superman and the Mole-Men (1951). He was popular on radio in the early 1930s on the Little Orphan Annie series. He played supporting roles and was famous on television in the early fifties for playing the Old Ranger in Death Valley Days (1952-1964), and in films, he often played the roles of officers and lawyers. He began his artistic career with theatrical work in Minneapolis in 1916 and participated in radio work until he participated in the famous series Little Orphan Annie (1931-1936) and his first movie was Roman Scandals (1933). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA on June 23, 1969. |
