An American actor, born in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. He married actress Maryon Curtis (1937-1941), and after their divorce, he married actress Dorothy Durkee in 1945. In the mid-40s, he returned to Broadway, appeared in a musical comedy, and returned to his roots as a voice actor on the radio, in addition to some television work. He became one of the earliest Greek-dialect comedians who worked in vaudeville, nightclubs, cinema, and radio in the 1920s. He died in Palm Spring, California, USA on June 7, 1984 of a heart attack.
