An American actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on January 6, 1929. He died in Marina Del Rey, California, USA, on July 18, 2011 of cancer. His most important works include Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961), McHale's Navy Joins the Air Force (1965), The Twilight Zone...Read more (1960), and Lock Up (1960). He was born in Chicago and enlisted in the US Navy in the late 1940s and was a bodybuilder. He worked and sang in the American Theater Pavilion in New York and received a Fulbright grant for voice performance. He worked in US Coast Guard as a commander of commercial ships and was also qualified as a marine surveyor. He obtained a real estate appraiser license and was a member of the commercial team of the American Arbitration Association. He presented his latest work, Bad Memories (2009) and died two years later of cancer at the age of 82.
