Danish-American actress who began her career as a newspaper photographer before entering the acting world. Her debut was in Kidnapped (1935). She only starred in two Danish movies before getting a screen test at 20th Century Fox. In 1938, she relocated to Hollywood and played supporting parts in a number of TV shows and movies. Her notable works include Honeymoon in Bali (1939), Iceland (1942), The Master Race (1944), and Rocketship X-M (1950).
