He married actress Mary Warren (1916-1953) and they had two children, and she remained with him until his death. Lee Phelps' most important works: Desperadoes of the West 1950, Sand Flow 1937, Scouts to the Rescue 1939, Anna Christie 1930. Lee Phelps is one of the most prolific supporting actors in Hollywood, having made over 600 films, and has appeared in 13 films.
