A French writer and director who grew up between France, Morocco, and Tunisia. She has created a unique perspective on the Arab and African worlds. Between 2011 and 2013, she directed Clash Tounsi and Electro Chaabi, two documentaries about musical creativity as a revolutionary act. Her latest film, Paris Stalingrad (2019), tells the story of the journey of refugees who arrived in Paris and were forced to live in makeshift camps. The film has been screened at numerous festivals, including the Cinéma Vérité Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Carthage Film Festival, and the Cairo International Film Festival.
