An Indian film actress, born in Chennai, India. She studied law at Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women in Teynampet, Chennai, India. She has stated that she always dreamed of acting in films and used to act out scenes and extract dialogues from films as a child. While studying at SIET, she acted in several short films and sent her photographs to production companies, in an attempt to break into the film industry. She has appeared in supporting roles in Tamil films. She made her acting debut with Bala's Paradesi (2013) and made her breakthrough with her performance as a feisty housewife in Madras (2014).
