An American actor, born in Cozaddale, Ohio, USA, on October 16, 1879, as Clement Guy Blevins. He married three times. He is known for Saboteur (1942), Harvey (1950), The Yearling (1946), and The Paleface (1948). He spent most of his career on stage and first appeared in 1900 in vaudeville, after which he worked in Broadway theaters and took on comedic roles. He first appeared on the screen in Way Down East (1935). He also made some television appearances and retired in the early sixties. He died on August 11, 1963, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, at the age of 83.
