An American actor, born in New York, USA, on March 14, 1924, as Bonar William Sullivan. He married twice and had a child. Bonar moved to Britain when he was twelve and spent several years performing in music halls, and when World War II broke out in 1939, he was not called up but contributed to entertaining the troops in Britain. He made his movie debut in The Way to the Stars (1945), and his last work was Death Over My Shoulder (1958). He is known for Is Your Honeymoon Really Necessary? (1953), Interpol (1957), Eight Iron Men (1952), and While the Sun Shines (1947). He died in a car accident in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England, UK, on August 17, 1958, at the age of 34.
