A Yemeni actor who started acting in the school theater. He founded and headed the Qahtan theater group early on and presented various theatrical works at many public celebrations and private parties. He won the award for the best comedian in Yemen at the Doan Baran Festival. Qahtan is considered one of the most prominent founders of the Open Theater in Yemen. Despite the wide fame that he gained during comedy shows on the open stage at the time, Qahtan did not appear in any television work until 2004 when he participated in the series Back and Forth. His other notable works include The Auctioneer (2018), Going Crazy (2016), Salt and Sugar (2014), and Half a Laugh (2014).
