An American actress and singer, she was born in Sacramento, California, USA, where she grew up in a musical family. She performed in the Sacramento Children's Chorus and sang the national anthem at sporting events. In 2006, she participated in the American Idol singing and talent competition. Then she started writing music in 2003, graduated from Loretto High School, and then studied communications at the University of Southern California. In high school, she participated in several plays, and after graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to continue acting. She participated in many works, including Pitch Perfect (2012), 42 (2013), Workaholics (2012), and Adam Devine’s House Party (2013).
