A Taiwanese film and television actress, born on November 3, 1954 in Taipei, Taiwan. After she finished a girls' high school and was preparing for college, she was discovered as a teenager in the late 1970s on a busy street in Taipei. Her credits include more than 100 films. She won a number of awards including a Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress for Red Dust (1990). Her other credits include Police Story (1985) and Ashes of Time (1994). |
