An Iraqi singer of the Sabian faith, born in Baghdad in as Nadia Abdul Jabbar to well-known journalist Abdul Jabbar Abdul Karim. She gained fame in the 1970s, studied opera in the German Democratic Republic, and recorded her first song for television in 1970. She joined the...Read more Chanting Group in 1971. In 1973, she married the artist and actor Romeo Yousif. Among the theatrical works in which she participated is The Palm and the Neighbors. She sang songs written by Iraq's most famous composers, including Mohammad Jawad Amori. She retired from the artistic scene in 1989.
