A Canadian actor and director, born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He made his acting debut in Hockey Night (1984), and his other credits include Murdoch Mysteries (2008), Anything for Jackson (2020), and Year by the Sea (2016). In 1960, he married Chantal Craig, with whom he has three children, actors Brianna Bisson, Dominique Bisson, and Mikaela Bisson. In 2018, he won a Golden Screen Award at the Canadian Screen Awards for Murdoch Mysteries.
