An American actress and singer, who presented the play Baby in 1984 and is famous for providing the singing voices for many female characters in animated films. She is the daughter of singer Shirley Callaway and journalist John Callaway and she grew up in the Chicago area with her sister, actress Ann Hampton Callaway. Her artistic works include the animated films Beauty and the Beast (1991), The Swan Princess (1994), and Anastasia (1997).
